Cootehill, Drumbess Cornafean and Cavan Town feature on Cavan News and Views with Áine Duffy

Åine was on the road this week with Cavan News and Views. She visited Cootehill for the launch of the Cootehill Walking Festival. The action moved to Drumbess, Cornafean for the launch of a plaque to Patrick Henry O’Rorke, American Civil War Veteran and the Run for CF Charity featuring Lecturers and Students from Cavan Institute.

Áine spoke to local Councillor Brian McKeown and Eugene Greenan who is standing in the upcoming Council Elections at the opening of their European Campaign HQ in College Street Cavan. Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD Cavan Monaghan, Pearse Doherty TD Donegal South West and Matt Carthy candidate for the European Election 2014 spoke to Áine about politics at National and European level and the importance of a strong voice on issues that effect people at local level.
