Kevin Sweeney Blues guitarist and singer had the audience clapping and singing along while Tony Clarke on Harmonica with a blues touch brought people to their feet as they brought the music from the Appalachian Mountains, the Mississippi Delta and Texas Panhandle to Chapter 1. The influences of John Hurt, Lightning Hopkins, Elisabeth Cotton and Blind Blake was evident from Kevin and Tony's songs and music

Mr. Phil Hogan, T.D., Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government met with Cavan County Councillors in the County Council Chamber Courthouse Cavan on Friday 10th February 2012. The Minister answered a number of questions raised by the Councillors on a range of topics of interest to the County.
