Anglo-Celt/Rehab Cavan Person of the Year Awards

>Anglo-Celt/Rehab Cavan Person of the Year awards took place in the Hotel Kilmore recently. There were nine category award winners and they are as follows: Fundraiser of the Year - Fergal Brady, Good Neighbour of the Year - Terry Brennan, Community Volunteer of the Year – Mary Lawlor, Cultural Ambassador of the Year - Betty Denning, Sports Person of the Year - Aisling Doonan, Carer of the Year - Maud Myles, Community Group of the Year- Killygarry Community Group, Grandparent of the Year - Nuala Smith and Young Person of the Year - Lorna Tierney. The overall winner and Cavan Person of the Year was Mary Lawlor from Drumlane. There was a Special Achievement Award presented to Chef Neven Maguire from the award winning MacNean house & Restaurant in Blacklion. Presentations were also made to Peter Stokes and Jonny McKiernan from Rehab Industries for their outstanding work with Rehab over the years.
