All About Sport this week featured Hurling development in Co Cavan. Owen Morrissey, Francis Clarke and Vincent Dolan spoke to Brian Daly about their work starting at National School Junior Infant level right up to Sixt Class. They also spoke of how they were working on developing Clubs troughout the county but starting with Cavan Town and Ballyjamesduff. Owen talks to Virginia Rugby Club about their success at U15 and U17 in Ulster and how the success of the Irish Provincial Teams in the Heineken Cup is impacting on individual Clubs throughout the Country. David Shiels from Sean Shiels Bookmakers was in the Studio to talk about the Punchestown Festival 2012. Owen called on David to give a few guidelines on how to make a few Euro on the Festival
All About Sport this week concentrated on the Cavan GAA U21 team in their back to back Ulster championship success. The Manager behind their success Terry Hyland was appointed manager of the Senior team in advance of the 2012 Championship. Owen spoke to Terry in the studio about their success in Ulster and their preparation for the semi-final on Saturday 21st. Owen congratulated Terry on his appointment as Manager of the Senior Team and how the county was placed to face the first round of a very competitive championship. Owen spoke to Declan Woods PRO Cavan GAA about the resignation of Val Andrews and how the County Board are set for the new Championship season
Owen leaves the studio this week to concentrate on Cavan's U21 preparation for the Ulster Final in Brewster Park Enniskillen on Wednesday 11th. Owen spoke to Terry Hyland Manager of the U21's, Ronan Carolan and members of the squad during their training for the Final. Sean McMahaon spoke to Val Andrews and Mark McKeever after their defeat to Antrim in Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday 8th April

Owen featured highlights of the Cavan U21 friendly with Sligo, Cavan Boxing Club lead up to the International Boxing Exhibition in the Cavan Crystal on Sunday 25th March and Cavan Gaels Fundraising event in Terry Coyle Park
Owen McConnon,s show this week featured A roundup of all thing GAA in the county and Shane Donohoe Fairtown Stud Cavan who spoke of his involvement in the Horse Racing Industry and how he has carved out an export potential niche for Irish bought and trained Horses to Hong Kong. Michael Mooney spoke about his role as Chairman of Cavan Gaels and their fundraising event which will include the Brogan Bro's from the successful Dublin team who won The Ssm Maguire Cup last year. They are bringing SAM with them and Michael indicated there will be photo opportunities for everyone
On All About Sport this week Owen McConnon is joined in studio by John O’Donnell and James Mooney talking about Indoor Short Mat Bowling and its popularity in County Cavan. There is a feature on Virginia College as they prepare for an All-Ireland semi-final meeting with Boherbue College, Mallow on Saturday March 10th. The College won the Arthur’s Cup (Under-16) Ulster championship for the first time this year. Cavan team manager Val Andrews also reflects on Cavan’s first victory over Sligo in the 2012 Allianz National Football league campaign
On All About Sport this week Owen McConnon is joined in studio by Kit McBride and Rodney Dolan speaking about their involvement and participation in Triathlons from their base in Virginia. This sport is fast growing in the area with interest from people of all ages wishing to take part. Also on the programme are the Cavan ACFL results from the weekend. The winner of the Breffni Abú competition was Katerina Friedrichova with the correct answer of New York
Owen outlined the teams playing in Round 1 of the Cavan ACFL Div 1 2012. The Video this week looked at the Drumalee V Drumgoon game where Drumalee came out with a 2 point victory 9 points to 7. Both teams are newly promoted to Div 1 and are keen to make their mark in this years competitions. Owens Studio guest this week was George Cartwright Author of BreifneAbú the much acclaimed book of all the GAA records for Co Cavan from the foundation of the Association. Owen rounded of the show with a quiz and the prize was a signed copy of BreifneAbú
On All About Sport this week Owen McConnon looks ahead to the commencement of the All County Football Leagues that get under way this weekend. For the 2012 season the final league standings will determine club placing in both league and championship competitions for 2013 season. All league games and results are crucial for all clubs this year. Outlining the changes and the advantages to clubs is CCC Chairman Tommy McGivney and Secretary Gary Robbins. Sean McMahon from the Anglo-Celt gives an overview of the league first round fixtures as well reflecting on another league defeat Cavan in the Allinza National Football League. Cavan team manager Val Andrews is also featured on the programme
Owen's programme this week featured a review of the Cavan V Wexford game and how Cavan Boxing Club are making an impression at Local, National and International level. The programme featured a post match interview by Sean McMahaon Anglo Celt Sports Correspondent with Val Andrews. Owen's studio guests were Brian McKeown John Joe Nevin and Ciara Smith from Cavan Boxing Club
Owen McConnon Sports correspondent Cavantv.com launched his weekly Sports Programme on Wednesday 1st February at 7.00pm. Viewers from all over the World logged on to see Owen present "All About Sport" from The Top of the Town" Studios in Cavan a historic first for Sport in Co Cavan. Owen's guests were Paul Fitzpatrick Sports Editor The Anglo Celt and Declan Woods, Public Relations Officer Cavan GAA. The topics discussed ranged from the Dr McKenna Cup competition to the build up to the Allianz National Football League. Paul stressed the importance of working with the Manager and how he can build the Senior Team from the pool of players that brought Silverware to Cavan in 2011. Declan spoke of how the work through the development squads is now starting to pay dividends at Senior level
